At the Heart of Vors

The guys behind Vors grew up at the advent of the import scene in the late ‘90s. Think Fast and the Furious (the very first movie).

Just before turning to the 21st Century, SoCal gave birth to a unique culture that raved about Japanese cars and everything hip.

The younger generation of car enthusiasts wanted to be like their motorsports icons. But there was one big problem – building a racecar wasn’t cheap.

Instead, they turned to econoboxes and affordable Japanese coupes. The Honda Civic became so popular that its name became almost synonymous with the Import Tuner culture. Even to this day, Vors offers wheels that go well with the Civic EG and EK platforms.

What Does Vors Wheels Got in Store for Us?

Vors Wheels wouldn’t be around today if not for its popular models. These staples became the brand’s bread and butter throughout the years.

Now, we look into these fan favorites and see what makes them appealing. Here are some of them:

TR4

The TR4 has a distinctly sporty appearance. It has five split spokes that stretch from the center to the lip, forming a unique concavity. The design usually works well with import cars but recently, enthusiasts also began using them on domestic and European cars.

Sizes: 17x8 | 17x9 | 18x8.5 | 18x9.5 | 18x10.5 | 19x8.5 | 19x9.5 | 19x10.5

LP1

The LP1 gives off an aggressively modern vibe. It has five edgy split spokes, each forming an elongated pentagon. This wheel is best matched with vehicles that came out in the 21st century. But we’re not saying you shouldn’t try it out with older cars, because who knows?

VR8

The VR8 is an ode to the timeless styling of European cars. Its multi-spoke design adds a lot of class and subtle appeal. The deep lip also adds some depth and can alter any car's stance if fitted with the right tires and suspension.

Sizes: 17x8 | 18x8 | 18x9 | 19x8.5 | 19x9.5 | 19x11

TR10

The TR10 is the right combination of subtlety and style. It has six split spokes that resemble a soft V shape. The clean lines throughout make the wheel a sensible choice for sedans and coupes alike.

TR3

The TR3 brings in a very ‘90s JDM vibe. The design puts together sporty and stance cues commonly associated with tuners. Its deep stepped lip can make your car look wide and aggressive. This wheel is perfect for any throwback build, especially if it’s a Civic or Miata.

SP1

The SP1 is inspired by the Honda scene in the US. The simple five-spoke design and clean lip appeal to minimalists. Despite being associated with certain cars, the wheel can also work on other builds.

The VE37's JDM roots is undeniable in its design. The wheel takes it inspiration from popular six-spoke track staples, just like the TR37 and TR7. It's best suited for light truck builds.

Getting the Business Started

Vors Wheels was started from the ground up with a vision of bridging the aftermarket world and grassroots enthusiasts. It did so with affordable wheel options.

The team carefully studied unmet demands in the community and acted on them. It first tapped into the mainstays of the import scene such as the older Civics, Integras, and Miatas.

As capacity grew, Vors diversified into modern import tuners as well as European and domestic cars. These days, you can find the Vors logo in just about any car on the street.

Vors Wheels Today

Vors Wheels is a welcome wagon for newbies and seasoned enthusiasts alike. You can easily choose from a variety of affordable wheel options inspired by classic and modern designs in the industry.

They come in standard and custom specifications to best suit any project car. You can work closely with the Vors team to help you choose the finish, size, and offset to your liking.

The brand also holds high regard for good craftsmanship. Its factory subscribes to the Japan Light Alloy Wheel and Japanese Vehicle Inspection Association standards.

This means despite the affordable price tag, there is no compromise to the safety and quality of every wheel that carries the brand name. Such is the brand’s value proposition.

Tapping into the Diverse Aftermarket Scene

The brand’s original line-up comprised of 15- and 16-inch wheels only. Intended for grassroots JDM cars, the first three models they sold were the TR3, TR9, and VR7.

These are a nod to the movement that propelled the import scene to what it is today. Their designs are inspired by Japanese racecars from the previous decades.

As its reach expanded, so did the selection. Vors Wheels introduced wheel options fit for the modern mid-size sedans and bigger coupes. These heavy-hitters are what you may know as the TR4, LP1, VR8, VR3, and TR10.

But developments don’t stop there. The latest additions to the brand tap into the popular domestic, SUV, and European market. A brand that used to be exclusive for Asian import vehicles is now as diverse as the enthusiasts.
